Going home and knowing the same quality is still there makes me so happy Yet another trip for more of those delicious smiley faced cookies! Ahhh! The other item pictured is the Orange Blossom cake. Orange zest and shredded coconut blanket this unforgettable favorite of mine. As I grew older, my Mom always gave me this superb, 2-layered, mouth watering, velvety sweet creation of deliciousness on my birthday. I’ll admit, a few tears were shed as I stood alone in the bakery...I sure wasn’t expecting that! I wouldn’t have guessed that a cake could trigger an emotional response, but hey, we’re only human.
