I frequent here ALOT. Everything is always fresh, and they always have great deals. Some of the cashiers, have EXCELLENT customer services. There is a cashier with braids and he is very professional and polite to every single customer and ensures they found everything ok. There are a couple other great cashiers too. I wish I could remember the names. The store is very clean too.
Still a good shopping space. They have a sanitizing station as you enter through the outer doors. There are the pull-up hand wipes; plus a spray container and paper towels do that you can sanitize your shopping cart; and a giant sized bottle of hand sanitizer. Here is a tip in my humble opinion.... Remember to sanitize the pump top on the giant sanitizer bottle. Shelves remain stocked. Clean and in order. In acknowledging the pandemic reality, all store personnel wear masks----and they are wearing them properly with both mouth and nose covered; and a snug fit to the face. It is politely, but firmly, announced over the PA system that informs/reminds customers that they are required to wear masks during their shopping at experience at Safeway. Staff are pleasant and helpful. I think they announce their "senior pandemic safety" arrangement. This means that they set aside an 1 or 2 hour, on specific days of the week, exclusively for seniors/others in the CDC descriptive of those in the "high-risk" category for catching the Coronavirus.
