Shaw's in Barrington has many plus compared to other Shaw's. The young are fairly trained. I asked the young fish monger if knew the real scientific name of Lobster. He had no idea @ $52.00lbs. I realize were in the middle of s pandemic. But our young cashier didn't know price on sale plant was $9.99 OR STICKER PRICE $24.99. He was very polite and told me the only way he know the price is when he would ring
it up. Wrong answer. Make a call to customer sevice. When I requested the bags be kept light in weight. More than accommadating. These may seem silly. But @ 69 yrs old I would have had walk to the front of the store p/u the plant and to I go through the check out again. A sign should have been out there. Second do no put the young to work and not educate them. Managers should make sure the staff know what is in the weekly flyer. before stepping on the store floor. Take. Some pride and educate the young properly. This is our future. We consistently think the young are lazy. Management do your job. Help the young know how to get ahead. This is an affluent town. No excuses Wake up. Your taking advantage of the young as well as the elderly. I could mention 20 other things. Please feel free to call me.

I'll give them 5 stars but if a Dave's Market ever opens within a convenient driving distance, I'll have to back this down to 3 stars. I don't think they can compete with Dave's meats or prepared foods...
