Great store! Stopped here while visiting from New York. They have a great variety of products plus some extra added amenities, a kitchen area with prepared foods as well as what looked like a small cafeteria! Will go again!
I used to love this store. Their selection of hard to find items (like gluten and dairy free) has always been wonderful. However, the last couple of times we have done grocery pick up I have been very disappointed in the substitutions and communication. The final straw before switching to another Stop and Shop was that they cancelled my order 2.5 hours before pick up and said they didn’t have enough staff to fill the order. I was given a $10 gift card as compensation, but still didn’t make up for the headache. Since I started going to the Vernon location, I have always been called to go over substitutions/out of stocks before pick up, and they are always helpful and willing to modify the list.
