Full disclosure I go back and forth from ShopRite in Lincoln Park to the Stop & Shop in Pompton Plains . I visit Stop & Shop probably twice a week however usually I just use the self-checkout line. I walked into the grocery store at 10:30, half hour before the store closes. So you know right off the bat the employees are probably a little annoyed because they have cleaning up to do and they don't like when people walk in that close to closing time. I had the luck 2 ask for help from to cashiers that frankly care more about customer service then some of the six-figure car salesman and real estate agents I have dealt with in the past. I'd like to tip my cap 2 Robbin and Juliana who went above and beyond helping me find conditioner for my wife and daughter and then make sure that I didn't overpay. Robin went as far as walking me down to the aisle that had the conditioner so that she could go through each one that was on sale and which products I would get the $5 rebate on. I always like Stop & Shop but frankly usually not more than say ShopRite but now I can tell you honestly I will drive out of my way to Pompton Plains just because if two minimum wage employees value my time as much as these two did it's a sign that the whole store is being trained well. Kudos to you Stop & Shop. And thank you so much Robbin and Juliana!
They have a good selection of vegan foods. What makes this place different from most supermarkets is the incredibly helpful and friendly staff.
