Dollar General 1005 Pkwy Waterbury, CT Weekly Ad 1005 Chase Pkwy Waterbury, CT 06708
I went into the brand new Dollar General on Chase Parkway in Waterbury, CT and found it to be very clean and welcoming! I was fortunate to get to speak to the Manager Mo Maurice! What a wonderful gentleman. He spent time talking with me about his pride in running this new store! I don't normally go into Dollar General's because the grounds are often littered with overgrown grass. BUT, when I saw this one, it had beautiful green grass and there wasn't a speck of litter. That is why I went in and am so glad I did! Mr. Mo Maurice pointed out that this Dollar General has fresh produce which is just great! So I went to that area of the store and was thrilled because I needed a few things in the produce area, but didn't want to go to a major grocery store because of the crowds. I found my new place to pick up groceries and the usual items that these kinds of stores have. I finally feel comfortable going into a Dollar General because the exterior is clean and neat and the inside had a wonderful surprise of groceries and I live nearby! Welcome to Waterbury! One last thing: I had gotten gasoline next door and was so happy to see the clean grounds that I actually walked over to compliment the manager, forgetting that I left my car at the gas pump and when I came out of the store, I thought my car was stolen from the store until I saw it sitting at the gas pump. lol
