I like shopping at this Safeway in Kennewick. Friendly and helpful staff, clean store, easy to find the items you need, nice floral section, a FexEx on site, good bakery, pharmacy, not too big of a store, I prefer average size grocery stores vs ones that have more than just groceries. Good prices too, used to shop at another bigger chain store but happy with my switch to this store! Close to other stores that I shop at and they have a gas station 👍👍 I've also noticed they will open another checkout if the line is getting even slightly busy.
My must recent visit was a pleasant one. The store is clean and bright. They had most of what I was looking for - including impulse shopping for tonight's dinner.
The fresh baked goods in the store are really nice, which might make you hungry while shopping. That could be good or bad, but enjoyable either way.
One thing I really appreciate is that Google Pay contactless payment works here, so I can pay with my phone and not risk a credit card being compromised by a skimmer or other malware. Thanks for making NFC payments available!
