Very well known chain store for groceries and other fresh goods. You can find almost everything in there. Their prices are good and with the help of the Safeway club card, you get more discount. The card is free of charge.
What can I say? This is an American institution. On the west coast, Safeway is THE grocery store. In Sandy, it really is the best produce, the best bread, and the best selection of gourmet-ish items. Great deli, great butcher. Everything is always in stock. Also, there isn't anywhere better within 50 miles to buy flowers. I just wish they would get rid of that terrible little Starschmucks! We don't need 3 of them in town!!
