The fruit and veggies are divine. My favorite is the Dole Grapefruit in light syrup 32oz clear container. Each tiny sections are Deveined and pieced separately in luscious dark pink. The color is sooo inviting - all for 9.99!! When i'm in searching through the freshest brightest greens, I feel like I'm reaping what I have sewn from all my hard work over the steaming muggy Summer, watering, weeding, nurturing my babies etc!!
That's fresh! They all are. Its hard to decide which to bring home for the next couple of days. BUT!! I can't pass up the $3 for $12 togo containers of fruit. I always choose pineapple, watermelon and the Green Melon that are sold into bite sized pieces. So many fruit I have not heard of until now! SuchGreat choices!! Onto the butchery!! The marbling on the blood red meat, beautiful. I literally could eat it raw. Shaw's is a few extra pennies worth that you find under your couch!!! So actually,, you'd be ahead of the game before you even stepped your foot in the door!! Oh!! Before I forget, WHAT A GREAT FLYER !! It's well mapped out and the sales beat ANY price of ANY flyer your favorite postman puts in your mailbox!! The manager's specials help you to afford lamb chops, Angus burgers, and their mouthwatering marinated steak tips etc. They bake their own desserts, decorate cakes etc. I love the home ready-made dinners they slave over,, I'm sure. Many to choose from. Turkey Dinners. Homemade Mac Cheese. Chix fettuccine & broccoli. Too many to name!!!
Buy one, and truly,, you end up with two hearty meals!! They are so generous with their portions. 8 bux for Chix Parm. 4 bux each?? You Can't beat it with a stick. The Dairy, breads, deli bagels etc., have a longer shelf life than other stores because they bring milk and cheese in while the cow is still mooing and the bread is still baking !! Shaw's carries every brand, and has every ethnic food section that you can think of, or not. Just walk down the aisles and without knowing what your whipping up for dinner, Bam!! There is a sumptuous gourmet feast just waiting to be cooked devoured!! I have a serious Gluten allergy and EVERY MARKET I've shopped at has had a limited Selection at redonkulous prices!! Shame on them!! AND CARDBORD!! YES!! CARDBOARD!! THEY ALL TASTE LIKE CEREAL BOXES!! Shaw's on the other hand, has a wide variety of deliciousness! You'd never know they are Gluten free. Yummy. Manager's Specials. Sales. Markdowns. It goes on and on.
